OUR History

B-H Transfer Co was founded in 1971 in response to a prolonged rail strike that paralyzed the kaolin industry in middle Georgia. Since that time, B-H Transfer Co has gained an excellent reputation amongst a wide-ranging customer base for quality on-time service.

Since 2004, B-H Transfer Co has added a rail-to-truck bulk transload division and container pool management services.

INDUSTRY SEGMENTS

The dedicated, hardworking employees at B-H Transfer have gained the support of a loyal customer base that has come to expect quality service at a competitive price. B-H Transfer Co serves three major industry segments:

 Import and export shipments of containerized clay and general cargo

Domestic shipments of slurry, dry bulk, and packaged industrial minerals, as well as chemicals and supplies used in their production

Rail-to-truck transload facility

B-H Transfer Co has a Satisfactory DOT Safety rating and places safety at the top of its operating goals. B-H Transfer Co has been nationally recognized by the National Tank Truck Carriers Association, the Georgia Motor Trucking Association, and publications such as Bulk Transporter for an outstanding safety record. B-H Transfer offers a late model fleet of tractors equipped with on-board communications.
